I am a normal-ish man living in a small town.  I work on-line and spend way too much time at my computer.
I have a dog named Jewell that is only mentioned in passing on this blog, and I enjoy movies, books and music.  Especially music.  I love the way emotions can vibrate through the air like that and carry me away.

Past the surface I'm into some rather obscure stuff, and I do a lot of reading on a lot of odd things.
I love getting to know new people, and I'm almost disappointed if they're not weird or unique somehow.  I form deep bonds of attachment to a central few, and I would much rather have 10 close friends than 100 more distant ones.

Tails is a red panda, and the whole point of this blog.  Sure, I might do something fun without her, but that won't end up here.  This is all about her.

She is quite big for a red panda, but she is still tiny next to me.
Besides cuddles, she enjoys good food and running around in the woods every now and then.

Being a wild animal that is used to humans she is not aggressive, but will bite if provoked.

She likes her space, but can be very cuddly when she wants to be.  Back-rubs seem to be the favorite so far, but of course I'm exploring every avenue I can to hear those great cuddly noises.  At times she almost sounds like a cat when she is enjoying what I'm doing, and she has the cutest yawn!

As of March 6th 2015, she belongs to me, but the previous owner has reserved the right to take her back at any time if I mistreat her in any way. Neither of us think that's ever going to happen, of course, but for her sense of security I think it's a great thing to agree on.

I talk to her previous owner a lot, and we discuss what Tails likes to do and how things are progressing.  As I was taking over as Tails' new owner, I also felt a strong friendship forming with the previous owner, so even now that Tails has become my pet I will of course keep in strong contact with the previous owner to get her input on everything.  She knows Tails better than anyone, so it makes a lot of sense like that.  Besides, she is one of my absolute closest friends now.

Eventually I will get a photo of Tails on here, but I don't want to make her anxious with my camera just yet. She doesn't trust me fully, and I'm not about to push my luck.

For those that haven't caught on yet, "the previous owner" and Tails are the same person. There is no actual, physical red panda. This is about a pet play relationship, and we are both consenting adults having a bit of fun.
