Ownership?

I haven't blogged a lot lately, but that doesn't mean a lot hasn't happened.

Lots of cuddles, lots of baths, but most importantly, lots of bonding.
That's why I'm currently talking very seriously to the current owner about formally taking over ownership of Tails.

What does that mean?

Well, first of all it means I take personal responsibility for her well-being.  It means that while it's still fun, it's not a game any more.

This all has a profound impact on how I feel.  I didn't think it would be such a big deal, as I'm happy with things the way they are.  It has dawned on me, however, that I can't wait to put my own collar on Tails.

I love my furry little critter, and I have a powerful need to protect, nurture and guide her.  It's like it brings new purpose to my life.  For a long time now, I've been seeking to simplify my life, and having a red panda chewing on my couch is complicated.
That has changed.  I want complications now. I want to own a red panda, but not any red panda.

I want to own Tails.
